The Secure Password Paradox

Password Management Software
Password management software seems like a solution. However, password management software can become a single point of failure.The user secures all passwords in the tool and must select one master password. If that master password is compromised — all the user's passwords can potentially be exposed. The user must therefore pick a very secure master password and will be tempted to write it down.
The secure password paradox limits the security of password based systems.
