Fashion is a large industry that includes elements of design, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, retailing, ecommerce and media. Products include apparel, footwear, accessories, cosmetics and materials such as textiles. Fashion items range from FMCG products such as socks sold at a grocery store to luxury watches and jewelry. Fashion can be produced for mass market consumption at scale or designed as a unique item for a person, time and place. The following are common fashion industry business terms.
