This typically includes getting employees connected, organized and restoring the tools they need to do their jobs. Disaster recovery is a subset of business continuity that is specific to infrastructure and information systems. In many cases, most of the planning and expense of business continuity is systems related as organizations may have hundreds of interdependent systems that are required to restore business operations.
