Natural things are things that exist in nature. This can be contrasted with human-made things, commonly known as man-made, that are designed, structured, constructed, manufactured, crafted, composed or cultivated by humans. In many cases, humans are strongly attracted to natural things as they are surrounded by mostly industrial things that have been created by manufacturing processes. The following are common examples of natural things.
Coir (Coconut Fiber)
Ice & Snow
Pine Cones / Conifer Cones
Natural vs Man-madeA natural thing would exist without humans. A man-made thing is processed by humans. For example, gold is naturally occurring but a gold bar or gold ring is man-made. There are many grey-areas between natural and man-made things. For example, wood that is cut by a lumber mill is quite natural. However, some wood products such as plywood include glues or other additives that aren't natural. As such, it can't be said that all woods are fully natural nor are they fully artificial.
