As such, some water related activities don't actually involve getting in the water. For example, enjoying the poolside bar at a resort or suntanning at the beach.Water to Escape The HeatIn some cases, it gets so hot outside in summer that feasible or enjoyable outdoor activities mostly involve water. Cities are increasingly building water features into urban parks to help people get outside in the midst of hot summers influenced by the effects of urban heat islands.
