Space, or outer space, is the entire universe that exists beyond the atmosphere of the planet Earth. The observable universe is about 93 billion light-years in diameter. Beyond this, we don't know what is out there. Humans have limited understanding of space whereby many apparent objects in space have been known to us for less than two centuries and our knowledge of them is based on limited data. The following are things that are known to exist or thought to exist in space.
Asteroid Belts | Asteroids | Black Dwarfs | Black Holes | Brown Dwarfs | Comets | Cosmic Rays | Damocloids | Dark Energy | Dark Matter | Dwarf Planets | Electromagnetic Radiation | Galaxies | Galaxy Clusters | Giant Planets | Humans | Intergalactic Space | Interplanetary Medium | Interstellar Cloud | Interstellar Medium | Interstellar Space | Magnetars | Magnetic Fields | Meteoroids | Moons | Natural Satellites | Nebulae | Neutrinos | Neutron Stars | Planetary Systems | Planetesimals | Planets | Plasma | Primordial Black Holes | Pulsars | Quasars | Radio Signals | Ring Systems | Rogue Planets | Satellites | Saturn's Rings | Solar Systems | Solar Wind | Space Dust | Space Junk | Space Stations | Spacecraft | Star Clusters | Stars | Stellar Wind | Superclusters | Supergiant Stars | Terrestrial Planet | The Heliosphere | The Sun | Trojans | Vacuum | Voyager Probes | Warm–Hot Intergalactic Medium | White Dwarfs |
Damocloids are astronomical objects that share characteristics with both asteroids and comets. They have similar orbits to periodic comets but without having a tail.
