Gross domestic product per capita (GDP per capita) is a measure of economic output as an average across an entire population. This is an imperfect measure as a small number of wealthy individuals can inflate this number for an entire nation. The following sorted list of GDP per capita includes countries with a population of more than a million and excludes territories and other non-independent special regions.
