Defect vs Failure
Defects are unexpected results that differ from behavioral, functional and non-functional requirements. Requirements can include concrete things such what happens when you press a button on website. They can also include intangible properties such as the taste of a inflight meal. Failures are defects that reach a customer. For example, a meal that tastes bad that isn't caught by testing or quality control to reach a customer who will have a bad experience as a result.Defect vs Failure | ||
