7 Types of Cadmium Colors

Cadmium are colors based on cadmium pigments, a common type of coloring agent used since the 19th century. Cadmium is chemically similar to mercury and is a toxic environmental pollutant that is immediately dangerous to health. As such, it is being phased out or reduced in products such as electronics in Europe. Nevertheless, cadmium is still commonly used as a pigment to color things such as glassware. This is a poor practice that has led to a number of product recalls. In short, it is not recommended to use actual cadmium pigment but it produces brilliant colors that are useful in digital designs.
