Wine colors are colors based on the drink of the same name. Wine was produced as early as 6000 BC and is associated with a rich set of traditions. It comes in a large number of varieties that have diverse colors such as red, rose, amber, brown, yellow and orange. As a color name, wine is a dark purplish red. There are also several common red colors based on types of wine from well known wine producing regions such as Burgundy and Bordeaux. The following are common wine colors.
