146 Types of True Red

 ,
True reds are red colors that correspond to pure light with wavelengths of approximately 780 to 635 nanometers. Red is a spectral color that is produced by the longest wavelengths of light. True red colors are pure hues of red that aren't shaded with black, tinted with white or tinged with other colors. At the long end of scale, true reds start to look dark because they approach the boundary whereby human vision can no longer see longer wavelengths of light, known as infrared. In practice, many humans can see concentrated beams of intense infrared light but this doesn't behave as a normal color. The following is a complete list of true reds by wavelength.

Red takes up an unusually broad range of wavelengths compared to other spectral colors. For example, true green and true blue are only about 40 and 60 nanometers wide respectively whereas red is about 140 nanometers wide.
