Communication failure is a message that is unintentionally misleading, ineffective or offensive. Communication tends to be amongst the most complex of endeavors due to the complexities of social thought processes and natural languages. It can be difficult to say what you mean, let alone say something that will be interpreted by your audience as you hope. Communication failures include failures of logic that leave you open to criticism. They also include statements that are open to misinterpretation or that are simply ineffective such that they fail to capture your audience's attention and imagination.
