Change is an action or inaction that produces a new outcome. This can be positive or negative, temporary or durable, intended or unintended. The opposites of change include inaction and stagnation. Other antonyms indicate that things are unchangeable or fully predictable. The last type of change antonym are words that indicate delays and resistance to change.
