Electronic media is any electronic device, infrastructure or software that is used to communicate. Most media is electronic with the primary exception being print media. Other non-electronic media are mostly outdated things such as smoke signals. The term digital media mostly refers to media from the perspective of users while electronic media refers to media technologies. The following are common types of electronic media.
