Architectural materials are products that are used in the design and construction of buildings and other structures. These are typically standardized commodities that can be readily purchased at great scale. Architectural materials are selected for their aesthetic and material properties to achieve architectural requirements such as strength, resilience, fire resistance and energy efficiency.
