Sociability is perceived as a pleasant characteristic that can be described with terms such as likable and personable.PolitenessCharacteristic concern for others and demonstration of respect. Politeness includes your attitude towards others such that you are kind and considerate of their feelings. It also includes conformance to the norms that govern politeness in a particular culture and situation.
Empathy TraitsThe capacity to share in emotion and engage in emotional experiences with others. Empathy traits revolve around compassion and a willingness to be open to others.AdaptabilityThe capacity to respond to changes in direction and the unexpected in some positive way. Adaptability is viewed as a social trait because collaborating and cooperating with people typically requires much flexibility and pragmatism.LeadershipThe ability to emerge as the leader of groups and to successfully direct groups towards shared goals. Leadership traits revolve around social dominance and the ability to take on responsibility, influence and provide direction.Social AwarenessThe capacity to read social situations including nuanced elements of communication and the underlying emotions, mindset and intentions of others.
