Slow design is the principle that designers take their time to produce works of significant value. It is the opposite of the predominant industrial practices such as minimum viable product and fail often.
Slow is Just SlowIt is common to ascribe a variety of philosophies to slow design such as the suggestion that it's holistic or democratic. None of this is necessarily true. The main push behind slow design is that a designer not feel rushed and take time to produce a design that feels right. It's not necessarily aligned with a design philosophy such as sustainable design.|
