Remarketing is a promotion strategy that seeks to follow up on previous interactions with customers. The most common example of remarketing, is targeting digital ads to customers who have recently visited your website. A number of digital advertising firms often technologies to deliver remarketing advertising, also known as retargeting. Some of these companies have a large number of content partners and can serve your ads on a high percentage of websites to follow up on a customer interaction such as abandonment of a shopping cart on your site.
