A media strategy is a plan to communicate to external stakeholders such as customers, investors, partners, regulators and the public. These can be created for marketing & sales and other purposes such as investor relations. The following are illustrative examples that can be used as a basic template.
ObjectivesA media strategy can be organized by objectives or goals. For example, this high level corporate strategy that lists objectives, audience, channels, responsibilities and budget.CampaignsIt is also possible to organize a media strategy around campaigns such as promotional campaigns. These may list goals for each campaign such as a revenue target.
Action PlanEach media strategy can be expanded into an action plan that includes the high level steps required to realize the plan. Here multiple actions can map to the same objective.
