Data Integrity vs Data Quality
Data integrity is the opposite of data corruption. It is a narrowly defined term that applies to the physical and logical validity of data. Data quality is a far more comprehensive term that includes the integrity, relevance, timeliness, precision, correctness, completeness, credibility, traceability and confidentiality of data. It is used to describe the value of data to a business. Anything that makes data less valuable reduces data quality.Data Integrity vs Data Quality | ||
