Raw data is data that has not been processed for use. It is represented exactly as it was captured at its source without transformation, aggregation or calculation. The following are illustrative examples.
Raw data captured by a sensor such as the image sensor in a digital camera. Most cameras quickly convert raw sensor data into a compressed image format and may not store the raw image.User InputInformation composed by a user such as a message sent to customer support.InteractionsInformation captured about a user such as clicks on links.
