Methodology vs Body of Knowledge

The scope of a body of knowledge exceeds that of a methodology. For example, a body of knowledge can include dozens of methodologies.
Methodologies are designed meaning that people sit in a room and create them. In some cases they are based on current practices or they may begin as a greenfield. At any rate, methodologies are designed to be internally consistent.
A body of knowledge is an effort to capture the best practices of a profession or industry as a shared knowledge system.
