Non-interactive is a term for systems, services and products that aren't used directly by people. In other words, they don't accept user input. The following are illustrative examples.
EntertainmentA theme park attraction where you sit in a seat and enjoy the ride but can't do anything to control the experience.
MediaA movie that you sit down and watch as opposed to a game where you actively participate.Systems, services, batch jobs and other software that is primarily intended to automate things as opposed to acting as a tool for users.A conference where you listen to experts speak as opposed to interacting and exchanging knowledge as peers.
ProductsA product or service that doesn't give you an opportunity to control it. For example, a smart window that optimizes the light in a room with no user interface for people to set their current preferences.
